The Pencil

The Pencil Maker took the pencil aside, just before putting him into the box.

"There are 5 things you need to know", he told the pencil, "before I send you out into the world. Always remember them and you will become the best pencil you can be?

ONE: You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in Someone's hand.

TWO: You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, but you'll need it to become a better pencil.

THREE: You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make.

FOUR: The most important part of you will always be what's inside.

AND FIVE: On every surface you are used on, you must leave your mark. No matter what the condition, you must continue to write.

The pencil understood and promised to remember, and went into the box with purpose in its heart. The parable of the pencil imparts great wisdom in the way we human beings live our lives as well.

Allow this parable on the pencil to encourage you to know that you are a special person and only you can fulfill the purpose to which you were born to accomplish.

Never allow yourself to get discouraged and think that your life is insignificant and cannot make a change.

We are just like the pencil, who can make a difference in our lives and in the lives of the people around us. Don't ever underestimate what you have the power to do!

Anger
A father told his son, "when u are angry and about to lose ur temper, try hammering a nail into the fence at the backyard. And when u feel that u have got over it and forgiven the person, remove the nail."

So the child did as he was told. Each time he was about to lose his temper he went running to the backyard and hammer a nail into the fence. Some nails got removed after a short while, while some took quite a long time.

Once when the fence are all removed, the father took the child and stood in front of the fence and said.

"look at those scare u have made on the fences, they are like people. If at the moment u have decided to hammer the nail into people instead of the fence, yes u might forgive them later but still u have already end up leaving a scar in them."

So.. think twice before flaring up and hammering a nail at someone.
